This song is a beautifully raw and honest confession of how I viewed myself. I wrote it at a time where I was struggling with my self-image and to be honest, I just did not like myself. I ended up forming this obsessive behaviour of trying to find ways of making myself appealing to others, which then dragged me into being fixated on how little likes I was getting off of social media, or how I wouldn’t get much engagement or comments on my posts compared to other people I knew. I was constantly comparing myself and it was very destructive. I ended up having to take a very long break away from social media and ended up writing what we now know as POSTERS.
