How appropriate that today’s Humpday Hymn should have the title ‘G.O.D.’ But this one’s a strictly secular tale of Man’s (or maybe rather, a man’s) flawed nature. IDestroy tell us …

“G.O.D was inspired by the disconnect between people’s online status versus reality. It represents the conflict of exaggerated or elaborated attitudes and behaviours through social media which is a juxtaposition against their lived experiences.”

Taken from their recent killer debut album ‘We Are Girls’ (which we raved about here), G.O.D. is another delightful taste of the Bristol trio’s uplifting, empowering rocknroll spirit.

Can’t wait to bounce around to this one in a crowd … perhaps there might another very pertinent festival announcement coming up …

Amen!
