Today’s video of the day comes from rising star (and LOUD WOMEN alumnus) Eliza Shaddad: ‘Heaven’ is out today via Rosemundy Records/Wow and Flutter.
A beautifully shot video sees Eliza rambling through the countryside in a floaty nighty and DMs – somehow this is the perfect backdrop to this country rock ballad. Sounds like Nashville, looks like Cornwall, feels like heaven.
Heaven is a call to hope and a plea to keep going. Written whilst Eliza was visiting family in hospital and then later in lockdown, the single and the video are a poignant reminder that life can get better and it’s worth holding on to.
