“I wrote this song when my partner spent a few months with family abroad and I suddenly had to adjust to spending a lot of time alone. It begins with the sadness of missing a loved one but ends with a new found self acceptance. In a way the song is about learning how to become a confident individual while being in an intimate relationship, ‘looking for peace in my own skin, sharing the rhythm of your breath’.”
