Out now from Ireland’s Éadaoin: ‘Graveyard + Chill’ is a bedroom pop ballad sending chills down the spine of the patriarchy.

“I wrote the song as a sort of self empowerment anthem about choosing no longer be used by men. It’s the feeling of being a woman but only being valued for your body and sort of objectified. I made the synths and recorded the majority of it in my bedroom with the help of a few friends playing on the track. The lyric “I don’t meet your standards” is about being made feel like you aren’t enough and saying “Hey, I’m glad I’m not doing what you want me to do, good. I don’t exist for men”. It’s choosing to be who I want to be rather than what other people want me to be.”
