Today’s video of the day comes from Vancouver’s Krystle Dos Santos – Buried Alive. Carrying an empowering message against domestic violence, the video was made in collaboration with Dixon Transition Society, a charity and safe house program. Dos Santos tells us:
“I wrote this song to help crush my own demons, so I just felt right using it as a call-to-action for domestic violence awareness. Watching David [Kaye, Sirens] and Mayumi [Yoshida, Man In The High Castle] perform during the video shoot actually felt like I was a fly on the wall and it shook me to my core. I hope this video and song helps to give wings to the many people suffering in real life.”
The track is the first single from her forthcoming album Bloom / Burn.
