We are absolutely thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for the first ever LOUD WOMEN Fest in Asia.
On Saturday 14 November 2026, LOUD WOMEN is heading to Shinjuku MARZ in Tokyo for a very special festival in collaboration with Tokyo’s rock-for-climate event series Too Hot to Be Cool.

Selected from hundreds of applications, this lineup brings together some brilliant new discoveries with bands we already know and love, spanning four countries and several generations of DIY music-making.
- 18Fevers
Seoul’s 18Fevers call what they do “Death Punk Disco”, which gives you some idea of the ride: death rock, hardcore, post-punk and plenty of movement. Their fiercely DIY approach, proudly diverse lineup and commitment to making space for LGBTQ+ people, immigrants and outsiders make them a very natural LOUD WOMEN band. We saw them rip through Rebellion Festival this summer and knew we wanted more. - Akabane Vulgars on Strong Bypass
Twenty years into doing things entirely their own way, Tokyo trio Akabane Vulgars on Strong Bypass are exactly the kind of band we love celebrating. Sisters Yumi and Miki, alongside drummer Kei, have taken their raw garage-punk around the world without losing the independent spirit that started it all. A bit of punk history on our Tokyo stage. - The Daddy Sisters
Kentucky duo The Daddy Sisters make gloriously swaggering punk and glam-rock with queerness running straight through the middle of it. Away from the stage they’re active in grassroots LGBTQ+ and youth music communities too, which makes them our kind of people as well as a seriously fun live band. - THE JUNGLES!!!
One of our favourite discoveries of this summer. We caught THE JUNGLES!!! at Rebellion and they were absolutely brilliant: loud, playful, wildly energetic and impossible to ignore. They’ve been making their own strange and wonderful collision of punk, new wave, rock and grunge in Tokyo since 2013, releasing music independently and taking it around Japan and overseas. - Mikabomb
There could hardly be a more appropriate band for LOUD WOMEN’s first festival in Japan. Japanese-led and formed in London, Mikabomb have spent years joining the dots between Japanese pop culture and UK garage-punk. Now back onstage and touring again, they bring a lovely bit of shared UK-Japan punk history to this lineup. - Molotov Princess
Molotov Princess may only have played their first show in 2026, but they’re not wasting any time. This queer, trans and non-binary Tokyo punk collective makes fiercely political music about everything from fascism and capitalism to TERFs, racism and surveillance, and has already used gigs to raise money for Sudan, Palestine and a trans community member. Punk as something you actually do, rather than just something you wear. - Siam Jem
Los Angeles band Siam Jem bring a different texture to the day, wrapping sharp songwriting in dreamy guitars, shoegaze haze and what they call “dream punk”. They already have a connection with Japan, having toured there in 2024, and we’re very happy to be bringing them back for this one. - Sister Ghost
Sister Ghost is the work of Derry-born, Glasgow-based Shannon Delores O’Neill: songwriter, formidable live performer and someone who has spent years creating opportunities for other musicians too. Alongside making brilliant 90s-inflected alt-rock and dark power-pop, Shannon founded Girls Rock! NI and now helps run Girls Rock schools in Northern Ireland and Glasgow. Very much the LOUD WOMEN ethos in human form. - Vampire Bats
Sometimes an application lands in the inbox and you just want to know more. Vampire Bats are a three-piece Tokyo garage band: stripped-back, scrappy, energetic and exactly the sort of local discovery we wanted this festival to make room for. We’re very excited to see what they do on that MARZ stage.
LOUD WOMEN × Too Hot to Be Cool
Too Hot to Be Cool began in Tokyo in 2024, using live music to raise money and awareness for climate action and to support grassroots environmental organisations in Southeast Asia.
The collaboration feels like a natural fit. LOUD WOMEN is committed to creating sustainable opportunities for women and marginalised gender artists, paying artists for their work and helping them reach new audiences. Too Hot to Be Cool brings the same grassroots, community-led approach to climate action.
For this festival, 100% of profits after artist fees and event costs will go to WildAct, a women-led environmental organisation in Vietnam working in wildlife conservation and local community empowerment.
This feels like a huge moment for LOUD WOMEN. What started as a small DIY night in London in 2015 has grown into an increasingly international project, creating opportunities for women and marginalised gender artists, connecting grassroots music communities and putting brilliant bands in front of new audiences around the world.
2026 has already taken us around the UK and Ireland, with festivals and shows in Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Brighton and Canterbury, with Newport still to come. In November, LOUD WOMEN heads to Toronto and Colorado before crossing the Pacific for Tokyo, followed immediately by three festivals in Australia.
So this is not just another date in the diary. Tokyo is our first festival anywhere in Asia, and another major step in what LOUD WOMEN has grown into over the past 11 years.
