Los Angeles based artist Evalyn is storming on to the dancefloor with heart-pounding new single ‘The Feeling’. Shiny pop vocals soar above pulsing electronic beats for a sound that is undeniably infectious. The track comes as a first peek into her upcoming album, A Quiet Life, but by the sounds of ‘The Feeling’, it’ll be loud.
‘The Feeling’ draws inspiration from the euphoric 2010’s, when the charts where full of pop icons such as Sia and Ellie Goulding collaborating with the likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris. Evalyn brings rose-coloured nostalgia along with modern pop production to paint a picture of giving yourself over to exhilaration and instinct; the music video is a sea of lights, choreography and ecstatic mania.
“This song is really about being taken over by a feeling or a raw instinct and we wanted to create that through movement. I was 6 months pregnant and crawling on the floor in heels and pink tights – I think that helped capture the chaos.” -Evalyn
