And the award for dreamiest new acoustic single goes to Margate’s own Claire Pitt Wigmore with ‘Shades of Green’. Sit back, relax, and let yourself float on bluesy guitar riffs, as whisper-soft vocals carry you to the impressive guitar solo that rounds off this number so nicely.

The guitar-work in ‘Shades of Green’ is truly beautiful, and undeniably the show-stealer. The vocals act as a prelude to the main event – although, like all great lyrics, they manage to say everything that needs to be said.

Overall, ‘Shades of Green’ is the perfect showcase of Claire Pitt Wigmore’s considerable talent as both musician and songwriter – well worth a listen!
