Beloved Seattle quartet Chastity Belt share the final preview of their new album, All My Friends, with ‘Friends for This’. The album is out Friday 6 November via Suicide Squeeze Records.
‘Friends for This’ captures the joy of sleepovers and reconnecting with friends, a beautiful reflection of the inspiring friendship at the heart of the album.
Guitarist and vocalist Lydia Lund shares:
“I wrote the lyrics for this song right after moving back from England. It was a time where it felt sooo good to reconnect with my friends after spending the last two years away from Seattle. We had lots of sleepovers. We had a lot of fun recording vocals for this song in my basement with Julia, Gretchen and Samur. Gretchen recorded some pretty amazing wales for the end of this song. I think if you listen really closely, you can hear them.”
