November’s here, and our Reva May has been busy filling the LOUD WOMEN // Monthly Playlist with another glorious heap of music. This month’s edition brings you nearly 7 hours of new releases, old favourites and exciting discoveries from women, trans and non-binary artists.
Poesie takes pride of place on the cover this month, celebrating the release of her brilliant second EP, Nature Mother. The title track is a gloriously theatrical, eco-feminist indie-pop anthem, packed with soaring vocals, crunchy guitars and a fierce message about humanity’s treatment of the planet.
Elsewhere in November’s musical treasure trove you’ll find Bridget., Party Dozen, Eilis Frawley, Sour Tongue, Sister Ghost, VENUS GRRRLS, Cindy Lawson, Death Valley Girls, BEX, CHINCHILLA, Blondie, Hole, Tracy Bonham, Caitlin Starr, Jenny Jam, SKORTS, Imperial Teen, The Healing Power of Horses, Cowboy Hunters, PISS, Smile, Ruby Gill and a whole lot more.
There’s punk, indie, post-punk, experimental noise, dreamy pop and plenty of music that refuses to fit neatly into any genre. Just how we like it.
As ever, the best thing you can do with this playlist is discover someone new, follow them, buy their music, go to their gigs and tell your mates about them. Independent music thrives when we all keep sharing the love.
Save the playlist so you don’t miss the next update. We’ll be back with another fresh batch next month!
