Stockholm artist and songwriter Dandelion shares ‘Scissors’, the second single from her forthcoming debut album My Sadness Needs Your Full Attention. The album will arrive in two chapters, with Part I out 30 October and Part II following in Spring 2027.
‘Scissors’ is an emotionally sharp, introspective track exploring the lingering wounds of past relationships while stepping into something new. Through vivid storytelling and haunting vocals, Dandelion captures the struggle to leave painful experiences behind, recognising that healing isn’t about cutting away the parts of yourself you want to forget.
“Healing isn’t rewriting your history. You can’t cut out the parts of yourself you wish had never happened. The only way forward is to accept that your history belongs to you. It shaped you, but it doesn’t have to decide what happens next. You can’t change what was. You can only change what’s to come.”
