Cherry Bomb, the Los Angeles-based solo project of MisterWives’ Mandy Lee, announces her debut solo album, The Pursuit of Pleasure, out 13 November. Mandy Lee steps into a new era with her solo project, built on rebellion, heartbreak, and unfiltered self-expression in a glitter haze.
The announcement arrives alongside ‘Crash!’, a high-energy jolt from the world of The Pursuit of Pleasure.
On the new single, Mandy Lee says, “‘Crash!’ is for your next crash out!” One of the first songs written for Cherry Bomb and a personal favourite, the track “sparked the sonic world and sentiment” behind the project, while serving as a reminder that “you don’t have to keep craning your neck looking back at a past you once had to shrink to fit into.”
