Newport three piece HAIRDYE has sprinkled in a bit more pop into their punk than usual on single ‘Drop Out’ from upcoming EP Too Much Too Quick. Lead singer Penny-Laine has a nonchalant, quintessentially punk vocal that gives this existential anthem its cool factor against the scuzzy, hyper guitar and the aggressive bass.
It’s about college being your last hold onto your teens, wanting to drop out but then realising you’ll have to face the realities of adulthood.”
