LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox joined Ciara Jones on Mersey Women on Liverpool Community Radio, LCR FM 106.7 this week, alongside Bee from GothFrog Productions.
The show came just a few days after LOUD WOMEN and GothFrog joined forces for DOLLHOUSE at ARC:HIVE Liverpool, with Auraboros + The Argyle Jumpers + Woke Nonsense + Second Idol.
Cassie and Bee chatted with Ciara about LOUD WOMEN, GothFrog and the importance of inclusivity and diversity in DIY music: who gets to be on our stages, who feels welcome in our audiences, and why grassroots music is at its best when we actively create space for more people to be part of it.
It was especially lovely to continue the conversation after such a brilliant weekend in Liverpool. Our first DOLLHOUSE collaboration brought together local, regional and international artists and raised money for Liverpool Trans+ community fund Protect Scouse Dolls.
