Apocalypse Prom brings witchy riffs and end-of-the-world energy to Mercury Lounge, New York

Apocalypse Prom took over New York’s Mercury Lounge on 4 September 2026, with Trick the Riddle, Already Late, Sunday Saari and Outer Shapes soundtracking a very stylish end of the world.

Trick the Riddle opened the night by summoning the party with their witchy riffs, setting the tone for a suitably dramatic prom at the apocalypse.

Sunday Saari followed with a high-energy set powered by huge vocals and an immediate connection with the crowd, pulling the room in with both their performance and lyricism.

Closing the night, Outer Shapes built an impressively full sound from just two performers, layering live guitar loops, sound bites and vocals until the duo sounded more like a full ensemble.
