Liverpool, we’re nearly there! This Friday 4 September, LOUD WOMEN joins forces with Liverpool DIY promoters GothFrog Productions for DOLLHOUSE at ARC:HIVE.
DOLLHOUSE is about celebrating the grassroots alternative community, creating a more inclusive live music space, bringing international and local artists together — and using the night to support something important right there in Liverpool.
There’ll be a raffle raising money for Protect Scouse Dolls, a Liverpool community-led fund and support network dedicated to the wellbeing and collective freedom of the Trans+ community. Their work includes an Essential Care Fund providing direct practical support with things like food, housing and healthcare, alongside mutual aid, community events and projects creating safer, joyful spaces for Trans+ people in the city.
So: come for the bands, stick some money in the raffle, support Liverpool’s Trans+ community and help us make a proper night of it.
And here are the all-important times:
7pm — DOORS
7:30pm — Auraboros
8:15pm — The Argyle Jumpers
9pm — Woke Nonsense
9:45pm — RAFFLE
10pm — Second Idol
10:45pm — HIT THE STREETS
Sydney’s Second Idol are landing in Liverpool as part of their huge LOUD WOMEN UK and Ireland adventure, following shows in Dublin, Manchester and Edinburgh and before heading straight on to LOUD WOMEN Fest London and Brighton.
They’re joined by Manchester shoegrrrl punks Woke Nonsense, Liverpool alt-rockers The Argyle Jumpers and Auraboros for a bill that feels exactly like the reason LOUD WOMEN and GothFrog wanted to work together in the first place: DIY, alternative, inclusive and loud.
The Argyle Jumpers have stepped onto the bill in place of Seenosaira, who’ll instead be joining GothFrog for a Manchester show later in the year.
If you’re in Liverpool on Friday, come and be part of it — and please tell your mates.
