LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox will join a panel discussion at the Vagina Museum in London on Thursday 3 September, following a screening of Wholly Trinity: Abortion, Art and Activism in Northern Ireland.
The film was produced collaboratively by The Open University, Alliance for Choice and The Array Collective, and explores the role artists and creatives played in campaigning for abortion rights in Ireland.
Following the screening, Cassie will join Danielle Roberts of Alliance for Choice and Sandy AbdelRahman of Skaped for a discussion and Q&A exploring art as a tool for reform, resistance and liberation.
The conversation will ask how abortion rights have been won, what mass mobilisation looks like, and how artists and creatives can do more than document political movements — actively participating in struggles for social change.
The event comes at a particularly pressing moment, as anti-abortion movements attempt to rally support in London and reproductive rights continue to face threats around the world.
