Lisbon-born, London-based songwriter Maripool (the moniker of Natacha Simões) shares ‘Favourite’, another glimpse into her debut album Rotten Luck, out 28 August via Lost Wisdom in the UK and Smoking Room in the US.
A moody and revealing track, Maripool shares that ‘Favourite’ captures “the quiet unraveling of a relationship and the way the mind begins to drift elsewhere before things have fully ended. Finding distractions as a form of escapism and of softening the inevitable.”
Live dates:
1 October- The Croft, Bristol
3 October – Folklore Rooms, Brighton
4 October – Shacklewell Arms, London
