HENKA live session, plus Mona Freaka and Celeste Bell on the LOUD WOMEN Radio Show on Resonance FM – now on Mixcloud!

Last night’s LOUD WOMEN Radio Show on Resonance FM was our final show before the summer break, and we went out with full end-of-term party vibes.

Hosts Cassie Fox, Anastasiia Starkova and Dylan Fox were joined live from New York by Mona Freaka to chat about their upcoming first UK tour and appearance on the LOUD WOMEN stage at Rebellion Festival. We also gave the world premiere of their brand new single ‘Agitator’, ahead of its August release.

We also welcomed HENKA into our Waterloo studio for a live session, performing four songs and talking about the journey from Derange to her solo project, songwriting, performance and what is coming next.

Celeste Bell joined us too, talking about Up Yours Collective and God Save the Queens, its celebration of 50 years of she-punk, and the legacy of her mother, Poly Styrene.

As always, we packed the rest of the show with brand new music, including tracks from Skint Knees, DESPERATELY SEEKING SUKI, Julia Jacklin, Alice Geary, Kitty O’Neal, BABY B x Elsie Bay, Rivkah Reyes and The Healing Power of Horses.
