Have you always wanted to be in a band?
Maybe you were a riot grrrl back in the day. Maybe you spent years watching gigs thinking, “I wish I’d done that.” Maybe life got in the way – work, family, caring responsibilities, or simply never having the confidence or opportunity to give it a go.
Whatever your story, it’s never too late.
Here at LOUD WOMEN, we’re developing an exciting new programme designed to help women and non-binary people aged 40+ make music, write songs, learn instruments, form bands and become part of a supportive community of like-minded people.
We’re bringing together some incredible musicians, educators and industry professionals from the LOUD WOMEN family to share their skills, experiences and encouragement. Whether you’ve never picked up an instrument before or you’re returning to music after years away, we want to help you discover your creative voice.
The programme is currently in development, but we’d love to keep you updated.
Join the mailing list and you’ll be the first to hear about workshops, masterclasses, events and opportunities as they’re announced.
Know someone who’s always said, “I’d love to be in a band one day”? Send them this page. Because one thing we’ve learned from projects like The NaNaz is that amazing things happen when women realise it’s never too late to start.
