LOUD WOMEN Fest London 2025 alumni Loose Articles are back – and they’ve got plenty to say about the horrors of modern dating. New single ‘Cringe of Hinge’, out now via Alcopop! Records, is a sharp, shouty, very necessary takedown of app-based romance and the disposable way we treat each other.
“This is an anthem dedicated to the relationship cheaters on dating apps,” the band say. “You know who you are: you’re the cringe of hinge.”
As the first taste of their upcoming second album, it suggests they’re leaning further into both the sass and the substance – calling things out while keeping it firmly on the dancefloor.
You can catch them taking this gloriousness on the road across the UK this May, with headline dates including 01/05 Cardiff (Fuel), 08/05 Stockton (Ku Bar), 15/05 Birmingham (The Flapper), and 17/05 Portsmouth (Wedgewood Rooms), before festival appearances at In Your Backyard (20/06), Snug Fest (14–15/08) and Beyond The Music in Manchester (07–09/10) – tickets here.
