New York–based singer-songwriter ROREY shares her latest single, ‘Dying Fire’, another glimpse into her upcoming album Temporary Tragedy.
Following the same thread as the previously released title track, ‘Dying Fire’ explores the bittersweet reality of love through cinematic dream-pop and flickering, confessional lyricism.
“’Dying Fire’ sits in this space between love and impossibility. The song doesn’t blame or excuse it simply states with radical acceptance that what once was can never be again. Similar to ‘Temporary Tragedy’ love can only go so far when one person is left carrying it alone.”
