NEW YORK. WE’RE COMING BACK.
LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC returns to the Big Apple on 16 May at Main Drag, Brooklyn – for the second time – and we are bringing feminist punk rock solidarity back across the ocean.
After the absolute magic of our 2025 NYC debut, we knew we had to do it again. This is a transatlantic celebration of DIY, queer, fems, thems, noise, community, love and collective power. London to New York. Cardiff to DC. Baltimore to LA. Brooklyn to everywhere. Here’s your lineup:
Bad Static (NYC)
DIY NYC scene queens and co-organisers of this whole thing. We fell in love with them (and their band wives T@b Grrrl) while making zines on blankets in the park last summer. Now they’re officially LOUD WOMEN family – sharp, political, and deeply embedded in the local scene.
Bitter Tits (Baltimore)
High-energy noise merchants and the loveliest duo you’ll ever meet. We last saw them blowing the roof off LOUD WOMEN Fests in Sydney and Melbourne – now they’re back on US soil and ready to do it again.
Burly Girlies (Vermont)
Vulnerable, joyful dyke punk that will yell in your face, kiss you on the cheek, and pull the fems and thems into the pit. Organisers of Vermont’s Femme Fest, they’re building real community for underrepresented voices in punk.
Cat Crash (Connecticut/NYC)
Asian-fronted, all-trans riot grrrl queercore force. Since 2022 they’ve been touring hard, releasing powerful music about growing up Asian and navigating expectations, and hosting benefit shows for trans rights – including their Riot Grrrl’s Not Dead fest.
I, Doris (UK)
Menopausecore pop tarts from London, bringing radical kindness, big tunes and absolutely no tolerance for fascists. Tell your mom.
Izzy T (UK/LA)
British-Iranian alt powerhouse with fearless lyricism and commanding live presence. From a LOUD WOMEN night at the Hope & Anchor in London to sold-out shows at Whisky A Go Go and Vans Warped Tour warm-ups – this is a full-circle moment.
Jack Powers (NJ/NYC)
Eclectic queercore chaos inspired by Mannequin Pussy and 100 gecs. Expect dissonance, satire, a punk Hamilton cover, autotune mischief, and loud girl music rooted in grassroots queer bills and fundraising.
JENNY ALIEN (London/NYC)
Nine (sometimes ten!) piece queer party-rock whirlwind. Born in London, now tearing up NYC with sardonic humour, chaotic arrangements and anthemic hooks. Big DIY roots, bigger live energy.
Mac N’ Toss (Washington DC)
Riot grrrl gen Zs channeling intersectional feminist rage through punk and metal. Their recent singles confront survival and sexual violence head-on – loud, political, and urgent.
Shaggo (Brooklyn)
Queer and trans femme punk inspired by The Shaggs. Silly songs, serious intent. Their debut album Chores dropped via Atlanta Zone Records in 2025 – and yes, LOUD WOMEN Radio was already playing them.
T@b Grrrl (NYC)
Nu riot grrrl phenomenons, and co-organisers of this glorious event. Fierce, supercool, and completely part of the LOUD WOMEN DNA now.
The Nanaz (Wales, UK)
Born from women-over-50 punk workshops, now forging their own glorious path of art-punk chaos (with a BBC documentary crew in tow – yes ma, we’re gonna be on the telly!). From The Hope & Anchor to Cardiff’s Splottfest, with a single supporting WASPI women written by Jeff Rose (Dub War/Skindred). Proof that it’s never too late to start a band – and change everything.
This is what LOUD WOMEN is about. International solidarity. DIY roots. Queer and feminist futures. Generations on the same bill. Bands who organise. Bands who protest. Bands who build.
16 May. Main Drag. Brooklyn.
Come be loud with us.
