Dreamrock trio KEELEY, fronted by Dublin-born singer-guitarist Keeley Moss, release their third album, Girl On The Edge Of The World.
The new album is the first to feature Keeley’s touring bandmates, bassist Lukey Foxtrot and drummer Andrew Paresi, and also marks the group’s first collaborations with guest vocalists: Miki Berenyi (Lush, Piroshka, MB3) on ‘Big Brown Eyes’ and Sice of The Boo Radleys on ‘Trains and Daydreams’.
Girl On The Edge Of The World is a musical memoir honoring teenage German backpacker Inga Maria Hauser, tragically murdered in Northern Ireland in April 1988 during her first solo adventure. Her case remains unsolved, and Keeley Moss keeps Inga’s story alive through her blog, The Keeley Chronicles, and her ongoing discography.
Excerpts from Inga’s own diary and postcards offer glimmers of her life, set against a soundscape of indie rock, shoegaze, dreampop, post-punk, ambient electronica, and pastoral psychedelia—an emotional journey that bridges 1988 and today.
“This record is the first time we’ve managed to capture what I call “the sonic swirl” in our sound, the sound I’ve had in my head all along.”
