The Black Mariah Theater, a twin sister twosome out of Seattle, are back with a rocking Valentine’s Day single, ‘It’s You (It’s Not Me)’.

With Fi on lead vocals and guitars and Vex on drums and backing vocals, it’s no surprise that The Black Mariah Theater, who call their sound “sparkly witch rock,” have drawn comparisons to the White Stripes. But all comparisons pale in the face of this song’s powerful beats and driving guitar lines.

‘It’s You (It’s Not Me)’ is directed at that soon-to-be ex you’re so done with. The anger is palpable: “I got a little match, I got a little fire, with your name on it.” Plus, for extra fun, it’s seasoned with a dash of self-awareness: “Cross my fingers, behind my back, when I’m making you promises.” Great lyrics and visceral stripped-down rock and roll–now that’s a Valentine to make you swoon.
