Brooklyn band MX LONELY just dropped ‘Anesthetic’, the fourth preview of their debut album, ALL MONSTERS. The song explores the tension between sensitivity and apathy, examining the conflicting desires to feel and to escape pain.

From the first chords of ‘Anesthetic’, MX LONELY immerses us in an intense, heavy atmosphere, maintaining a tension that gives their music a cinematic and emotional quality. Haas’ voice is a desperate emotional cry, accompanied by crushing riffs.
MX LONELY’s music draws from the introspective style of alt rock and shoegaze typical of bands like Nirvana and Deftones, as well as the rawer post hardcore sound of contemporaries such as Fleshwater and Nothing. If ‘Anesthetic’ is anything to go by, ALL MONSTERS promises to be a cathartic debut that won’t numb the edges.
