LOUD WOMEN is stoked to premiere the video for LA rockstar Kit Major’s ‘Not As Witty As I Used To Be’, the lead single from her forthcoming EP Miss Ego, out 12 June via Futureless.
Known for her signature sound of grunge-punk edge, Major is unapologetically loud, and Miss Ego explores identity, femininity, and the space a woman is allowed to claim onstage and offstage.

Major explains why ‘Not As Witty As I Used To Be’ was chosen as the lead single and reflects on the evolution behind Miss Ego:
“I always think of a lead single as a reintroduction, and ‘Not As Witty As I Used To Be’ is rowdy, fun, honest, and a little cheeky – everything I hope my live shows feel like. It’s a reflection of who I am right now, who I want to become.
Love.Sick.Major was creating a space for my sound in the scene and figuring out who I was. Miss Ego is stepping into that space, louder, bolder and finding confidence in my femininity again after years of dialing back.”
