Manchester’s experimental powerhouse Mandy, Indiana, have teamed up with renowned rapper billy woods to deliver the bitter medicine we need on their latest single, ‘Sicko!’.

A blistering, club-esque commentary on our toxic relationship with social media, ‘Sicko!’  tears open the nefarious methods used to poison our societal well. Calling on artists to help the message hit home, the music video further sears these revelations to memory.

Social media has changed the way we consume art and music, often meaning that we rarely see a full music video in the way it was intended to be experienced. For ‘Sicko!’ we wanted to try something different, leaning into the way people consume art on social platforms. We asked creators to make 30 second films based around ‘sickness’ as a theme, drawing inspiration from the track. It was an experiment to see what a music video might be like if we present distinct, often conflicting, visual styles side-by-side.”

From serrated instrumentals to the barbed rap verses, this track hits hard enough to rattle the psyche. Perfect for raging playlists, ‘Sicko!’ is an unapologetic slap that might make us come to our senses.
