Thank you, Australia 💜
LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia 2025 was an absolute triumph, and it simply would not have happened without our two incredible organisers.
Huge, heartfelt thanks to Kate from Second Idol, who pulled together the Gadigal/Sydney fest, and Soph from R.U.B, who organised Naarm/Melbourne. Between them they curated exquisite lineups and somehow found the time and energy to make these festivals happen alongside their already-busy day jobs. The amount of work, care and sheer competence involved was immense – and it showed. Both events ran beautifully and felt genuinely special.
I’m hugely grateful for everything Kate and Soph have done, and I’ve loved working with them every step of the way. Even better, they’re keen to do it all again – which makes me ridiculously happy.
So yes: LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia will be back next year. And not just that – we’ll also be looking to bring LOUD WOMEN to more territories down under too. Watch this space in the new year 👀
We were very grateful too to our fantastic sponsors Great Ocean Road Gin, Fender, Topple and Burn, Heaps Normal and Pink Boots Society Australia (NSW chapter). Their support meant the world to us in partnering with cool brands who share our ethos, and helped us bring LOUD WOMEN Fest to fruition in Australia in such a beautiful, refreshing and LOUD way!

Special thanks too for Frankie (Bergy owner & booker) and Brodie (sound) for everything that they helped with on the day!
Thanks so much to Elly Malone for designing our stunning poster artwork!
And of course, thank you to every single band who played. Total stars, the lot of you.
Not just for the blistering sets (which were across-the-board phenomenal), but for everything else too: going out of your way to support the festivals in advance, showing up early and staying late, hyping each other, lending instruments to touring bands, sharing gear, sharing love, and generally being the very best kind of scenesters. This is what a real scene looks like – generous, collaborative, and lifting each other up.
Massive thanks as well to everyone who came along – whether you stayed all day or dipped in and out, you brought the energy. You danced, moshed, sang, hugged strangers, made new friends, and fully threw yourselves into the spirit of the events. The rooms were buzzing because of you.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia 2025 felt joyful, safe, loud, political, sweaty, and full of heart – exactly as it should be. None of it works without the artists and the audiences meeting each other halfway.
