Brighton art-rockers Flip Top Head announce their new EP Trilateral Machine, out 23 January via Blitzcat Records. Alongside the announcement, the band share the title track.

‘Trilateral Machine’ is a captivating preview of the upcoming EP, with urgent vocals and intricate instrumentals that burn with intensity.

“’Trilateral Machine’ sees Flip Top Head recycling lyrics from an unreleased song- ‘If I Could Atomize’- by Elliot, Bowie’s late Dad’s band. Like many Flip Top Head songs, the sonic elements and lyrics came together separately from one another; evolving over time, until being soldered together like some sort of machine.

Meaning is left open to interpretation, with the machine in question being a metaphor for whatever crutches we lean on in life to achieve the things we want to. The message, we hope, is one of empowerment- in overcoming unexpected obstacles and finding comfort along the way.”
