NYC-based singer-songwriter Ski Team (Lucie Lozinski) shares ‘New BF’, the latest preview of her forthcoming debut album Burnout/Boys, out 23 January.
‘New BF’ is inspired by a bachelorette party where the bridesmaids’ sense of happiness and progress seemed tied to their relationships. With her signature humour, Ski Team delivers a deceptively upbeat take on feeling trapped, isolated, and evasive — even if, low key, she wants to be part of it.
“I’ve always thought it’s a weird thing, saying ‘congrats’ when people get engaged—as though it’s an end, or an achievement.”
