Rotterdam slowcore act L’orne share new single ‘Talk To Me Too’, taken from their forthcoming EP Mirror, out on 14 November. The track is also the first part of a trilogy, How are you, old ragged Bunny?, set for completion in 2026.
L’orne converted a disused gas station into a fully functioning recording studio. On ‘Talk To Me Too’, the band explores social neuroticism and dissociation. Discussing more on the recording process for the track, Quincey Fortes shares the following:
”I think we all came down with a little cabin fever at one point while recording. The dome was super tall and you couldn’t see the outside through its tinted windows, so it felt like we weren’t even on this planet most of the time. I think that the atmosphere, along with the cold, emotional weight of the music and being inside for more than twelve hours a day turned the songs into the cathartic, heavy, slightly-unhinged gems that they are. And we’re all so proud of it!”
Upcoming Dates:
2 Nov – Utrecht, EKKO (supporting Slow Crush)
21 Nov – Amsterdam, Cinetol
6 Dec – Rotterdam, V11
