South Wales-based psych-rockers Waterpistol are a 6 piece band, providing a full-bodied sound with notes of nostalgia. Releasing their new single ‘Shotgun’, the sextet draw inspiration from bands such as The La’s, Shack and their predecessors in golden era rock and roll.
‘Shotgun’ has everything you could want from Waterpistol’s signature sound: jangly guitars, an ear-worming hook, stunning harmonies and relentlessly entrancing bongos. Despite only forming in 2022, they’re already refining their brand: the sound of Waterpistol is classic, ageless and hypnotic.
