It’s been 10 years since the very first LOUD WOMEN gig, so we’re celebrating a decade of DIY community by doing what we love doing most – putting feminist punks on stage and turning up the volume! Join us at The Lexington, with:
💋 YAKKIE – feminist punksupergroup fronted by Janey Starling – she opened the very first LOUD WOMEN gig, so it’s beautifully fitting she should headline our 10th birthday party
💋 THWACK! – orchestral-punk provocateurs, blending glue-gun theatricality, cabaret chaos and anti-capitalist fury with soaring cello and violin – and a giant zombie Maggie Thatcher for good measure
💋 RETROPXSSY – immersive punk-rapper bringing fierce emotional honesty to the moshpit
💋 I, DORIS – your favourite artist’s mum’s favourite band
There will also be cake, a raffle, and prizes for the best t-shirt.
