Death Pill – the fiercest band in Ukraine and beyond – brought pure fire to LOUD WOMEN Fest London. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the trio have been scattered across different countries, but they refused to be silenced.
On our stage, they were relentless, razor-sharp, and utterly unstoppable. The crowd knew they were witnessing something historic: a band who are literally fighting for their art, their country, their lives.
We’re so grateful that their set at LOUD WOMEN Fest was part of their UK tour, supported by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Ukrainian Institute and the Cultural Diplomacy Foundation – marking 100 years of UK–Ukraine partnership.
LOUD WOMEN Fest is all about platforming the strongest female voices on the planet – and with Death Pill, we had one of the very strongest.
“Death Pill. These are from Ukraine and my first time seeing them. Bringing loud women festival 2025 to a close in their heavy fast punk rock thrash! Vocals at times so raw but it changed around a bit. Quite a few styles entering the set being almost indie pop at times with the vocals more suiting that before they develop into a growl for the noisier ones. What a brilliant end to this festival. So many great bands new to me it’s always and education you can never have enough new music in your life and what a brilliant day it was to provide it!” – John the Punk
