Manchester-based artist Yasmin Coe shares new single/video ‘Blink Twice’.
‘Blink Twice’ was written after last year’s U.S. Election and the growing threat to women’s safety. This powerful track captures the feeling of questioning everything and wondering what will happen next.
“I wrote this single in the days following the US Presidential election 2024. My music has always been made for all women, and this day caused so much hurt. As a woman in music, I see and hear about so many struggles, as well as experiencing my own. ‘Blink Twice’ is about feeling a total lack of control in the face of something so powerful. It’s about questioning everything you do, every choice you make and every street you decide to walk down.”
