Some protest songs hand you a placard. Wokerati Party‘s ‘Milkshake Shuffle’ dropkicks it through the window of GB News, then high-kicks over the debris in thigh-high boots and a papier-mâché Nigel Farage head.
The dynamic duo (formerly of T-Bitch)’s new single is a deliriously DIY disco-punk middle finger to everything that’s wrong with the world — and somehow, it makes that feel like the most fun you’ll have all week. Nigel Farage? Elon Musk? Both gleefully skewered like kebab meat on a Friday night in this gloriously chaotic takedown. The video sees them lurching around in oversized caricature heads, half Top of the Pops, half fever dream, all fury. It’s deeply silly. It’s deadly serious. It’s fucking brilliant.
Wokerati Party understand something most politicians and a lot of musicians don’t: you can be hilarious and dangerous, glittery and radical. There’s no safety in irony here — just sharp satire in stilettos, jabbing straight at the grotesque cults of personality dragging society off a cliff.
This is agitpop with papier-mâché fangs. You laugh, you dance, and then you realise you’re ready to storm a think tank.
Now let’s learn the dance and do it at a Wokerati Party gig very soon please.
