London alt-pop riser Dirt Flirt is back with a brooding and brutally catchy new single, Necklace – a dark-synth confessional that feels like dancing through the aftermath of a situationship. The solo project of multi-instrumentalist and ex-emo Kit Eaton-Kent, Dirt Flirt blends vulnerable songwriting with hook-heavy production, and this latest track might be her most emotionally charged offering yet.

On Necklace, Kit leans into the disorienting allure of bad habits and worse lovers, crafting a lyrical push-pull between pleasure and self-destruction. “There’s a sweet-talker devil on my shoulder,” she sings, setting the tone for a track that smolders with tension but never loses its pop polish. Fans of 070 Shake and Artemas will feel right at home here – this is late-night pop for the romantically reckless.

If Boyfriend was the messy breakup anthem, Necklace is what happens after you start texting your ex again. Glossy, moody, and a little bit dangerous.

Visually, the lyric video leans into the shadowy glamour of the track, while Dirt Flirt’s growing fanbase continues to build around her honest storytelling and magnetic stage presence. It’s no wonder Final Girl Records picked her as their first UK signing—she’s carving a lane that feels both fresh and deeply relatable.

From angsty heartbreakers to introspective late-night bangers, Dirt Flirt is quickly proving herself as one of London’s most compelling new voices in alt-pop.
