L.A. rockers Frankie and the Studs release their debut album Life’s a Glitch on Dead Beat Records. An old-school rock album with big guitar riffs and raw vocals.

Accompanying the album release is a new music video for the hard-hitting track ‘MONSTER’. It’s inspired by bands like Paramore, and shows off the band’s future leanings toward a more radio-ready pop-rock sound. The video is dark and claustrophobic, reflecting the song’s theme of anxiety.

“Putting it all out on display feels like I’m conquering my anxiety that often tries to hold me back,” Frankie says about Monster.

‘BIMINI’ is a mighty riffed rock tune. It’s named after drag queen Bimini Bon Boulash and is about feeling free to express yourself and celebrate individuality and self-expression even in the everyday.

“My process with this album was to approach everything with the live show in mind,” Frankie says. “Since we always consider ourselves a live band and love to perform, I wanted the order of songs to feel like a setlist that we could play top to bottom and capture the same energy we have live.”

‘Fuck This Shit’ is an anthem for everyone who wants to quit their job.

If rocking out is your thing, then this album is for you.

Frankie and the Studs play The Three Clubs, L.A. on April 4th.
