Toronto-based Billianne has released her first single of the year. Out now via The Orchard, Billianne’s rich vocals carry ‘Enough’, beautifully layered with soft guitar, piano, violin and lap steel.

‘Enough’ opens with the self-critical lyrics “Coming to terms with my doubts in the cold” but the song soon becomes compassionate. Billianne writes,

“At the origin and heart of it (especially the chorus) the song is more of a mantra to repeat in a kind of ‘from myself to myself’ way. I’m learning the one constant I have is… myself. That’s the core of the song for me.”

Billianne began to gain recognition in 2021 when her emotional cover of Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’ reached over 2 million views on TikTok.

Her 2023 debut EP, The Things We Talk About, gained her over 90 million streams and a six-figure online following.

Billianne has performed across Canada and supported some huge acts including KT Tunstall, The Paper Kites, Julia Jacklin, and Half Moon Run. She’ll be gracing the stage at SXSW on 13 March and UK fans can catch her at The Great Escape in Brighton this May.
