Indonesian feminist rapper Yacko blew our minds when she played our London festival in 2024, so we were thrilled to invite her from Jakarta to Brooklyn in May!
Known for her outspoken lyrics on female empowerment and speaking out against street harassment in Indonesia, Yacko is a truly inspirational groundbreaker – with some awesome tunes and dance moves too. New York is in for a treat!

LOUD WOMEN Fest has been running in London UK since 2015, as a global showcase of the very best new female and non-binary talent rising up from the grassroots and alternative music scene. LW has showcased the most exciting newcomers on the DIY, punk and indie scene, such as Nova Twins, Big Joanie, HotWax, Grace Petrie, Desperate Journalist, Petrol Girls, ARXX, Lambrini Girls and hundreds more. In 2024, a LOUD WOMEN Fest was also held in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
