Berlin-based quartet Seven Blood are all about embracing the darkness, and their new single ‘Monsters’ fits that criteria perfectly.
“Monsters is about the demons that haunt you, and pull you down in dark moments”
Starting with a classically heavy riff, the song follows that of metalcore giants Spirit Box and Bring Me The Horizon, with it’s electronic elements and muted gothic atmosphere, but they do put their own twist on it.
With frontwoman Azaria Nasiri’s vocals taking centre stage when it comes to the chorus, and the perfect blend of heavier screams later in the song.
Monster’s themes are up to interpretation for you, the listener, to form your own connections to whatever challenges you’re facing in life.
The band are embarking on a UK and Europe tour supporting Ankor and Conquer and Divide, starting on the 7 February, and ‘Monsters’ is a great way to kick it off.
