Seattle duo Chinese American Bear recently released their sophomore album Wah!!!
Married musicians Bryce Barsten and Anne Tong blend Chinese mando-pop and Western indie pop with English and Mandarin lyrics.
Wah!!! was written, produced, and mixed in Chinese American Bear’s home studio in Seattle. On Wah!!! the duo celebrates language, food, and traditions. There’s undertones of nostalgia looking back to childhood memories and favourite nursery rhymes. Wah!!! is a quirky and cute feel good album that will make you smile
Alongside releasing Wah!!!, Chinese American Bear shared a video for ‘Magic Number’, which sums up Wah!!! perfectly: good vibes, yummy food, and chill indie pop.
