Manchester’s own Dana Luna has just released her new single ‘The End’.

‘The End’ begins with Dana channeling her inner Disney Princess, awakening to the reality of her Prince Charming’s shortcomings in spectacular fashion. It sounds like Kate Nash crossed with St.Vincent’s more recent output.

“The End explores the allure of a seemingly perfect partner—handsome, charming, and rich—who hides a darker reality of dependence, irresponsibility, and infidelity. The powerful protagonist confronts her disillusionment, leading to a dramatic climax. The track centres on a charming man who initially dazzles a glamorous woman with his looks, wit, and wealth, proposing a fairy tale life together. However, as his true nature emerges—sponging off his wealthy parents, avoiding responsibility, and succumbing to a sex addiction—she becomes enraged. In a dramatic turn, she binds him in a hotel room, taunting him with a knife and demanding he confront reality instead of living off daddy’s credit card.”
