Essex icons She’s in Parties have already wowed us with ‘The Times‘ from Puppet Show – and the final product does not disappoint. Their signature futuristic-yet-nostalgic shoegaze-dreampop style shines through, despite the more intense political themes of this second EP. Each track comforts, challenges, confronts, and reassures – the listening experience is enthralling.

On the inspiration for the Puppet Show EP, Katie Dillon (vocals/guitar) had this to say:

“…people have always and will always sing about injustices, often though, people want an escape…sometimes there are things that happen in our society or on social media that you just can’t avoid. They’ve been plaguing my mind especially…”
