Waterpistol are a six-piece Welsh psych band channelling 60s guitar psych and shoegaze sounds. They are Harry Watton – vocals, Rhea Padua – vocals, Aaron Tormey- guitar and vocals, Carwyn Whiteman – guitar and vocals, Emma Way – bass and Tommy Evans – drums.
‘Où est ton âme?’ (Where is My Soul?) was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios with Adam Richards. Easy comparisons can be made with Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tess Parks, and The Black Angels. It’s all beautifully jangly 60s-sounding guitars and bongos, overlaid with trippy male, and female vocal harmonies.

It’s the tale of someone looking for their soul after losing it to sex, drugs, and Rock n Roll.
Mama, please, will you pray for my soul?
The devil’s got me with sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll
Waterpistol has been busy over the summer playing Huw Stephen’s Sŵn Festival, FOCUS Wales, Green Man, and Nozstock: The Hidden Valley. Look out for them playing a lot more festivals next year and bring your own bongos.
