Fife/Glasgow power combo, The Twistettes, are back with an absolute banger of a single in the run-up to this year’s election. Guttural articulations of frustration drill straight to the bedrock of political rage, reinforced by raging riffs from the guitars and drums. While much of ‘Tory Cunts’ is cathartic venting, there is a twist (pun semi-intended) towards the end which drives home the point that there are very real reasons behind why so many are furious with the political situation in the UK, and that we should all be thinking about them very carefully when we cast our votes on the 4th of July. Excellent use of acrostic poetry too!
