Singer-songwriter Olive Louise has released a dreamy new single entitled ‘Special,’ which acts like a gentle hug when battling emotions of insecurity and loneliness.
The song addresses social anxiety and the frustration of being misunderstood, the whirling vocals and twinkling piano creating a sense of magic like searching guidance under a starry night’s sky.
“I created this character in the song, this perfect person, that comes along, understands how I’m feeling, and says “let’s go look at the view” because that’s what I had almost always wished for in those times”
‘Special’ is a further introduction to the New York-based artist’s calming and poetic music. Her debut EP, 257 Kings Point Road, was released in April.
