The mystical duo of SPELLES has once again charmed listeners on their latest compelling, ceremonial track ‘Night Terrors’ with vocals that quip so hard, they bite.
SPELLES opens the ‘Night Terrors’ video with rippling silhouettes, high contrast shots, and gothic imagery. A distinct, smokey alto voice sings of emergence in the face of stifling oppression. Joy permeates the track as this escape is declared a victory. A triumph given its due soliloquy. Accompanied by hazy synth riffs, organ backing, and rhythmic drums this song radiates magic and power.
‘Night Terrors’ is all about shrugging off the spectres of society that attempt to drown you into submission. A celebration of seizing choice and refusing to donate yourself to the pyre of expectations. I recommend ‘Night Terrors’ for a pick-me-up or if you need to immediately step into your ferocity.
